I can already see faces drop.
WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?
Just because you can. That and you MIGHT be in a pinch someday where you need to get a friend on the internet. Especially a good friend you drove you ALL the way across the Border so you could fly to a big US Conference.
The Process is actually very easy using the Internet Sharing features of Windows 7
The first part is to go in Tools/Settings/Hardware on the Sprint Smartview software and check off the box “Allow Simultaneous Connections”
Once you’ve checked that off, go into the Network and Sharing center in Windows 7 (or Vista) and choose “Change Adapter Settings”
Right click on your choice of Adapter to share the connection out to (Typically Mobile Sierra Wireless Modem) and choose the properties
Click on the Sharing Tab and make sure you select “Allow other network users to connect through the computer’s Internet connection” changing the Home Networking Connection to the Wireless Sprint Card (Usually a working 3G connection)
|Once done? Connect up to Sprint, Plug your buddy (in this case @SyntaxC4) in via the LAN cable and enjoy your Shared internet, Red Bull and Salt Free Corn nuts until the plane is ready to go!|
